DISCOVER your main dosha with a simple test that takes only a few minutes. Mel will guide you and teach you through a few basic principles, so you can better understand how to balance all the doshas. She will suggest mental exercises and yoga postures, and also give you a list of foods that will help you feel more in harmony in your holistic constitution.

AYURVEDA is the traditional system of medicine of India.

In Sanskrit, Ayurveda means “the science of life.” Ayurvedic knowledge originated in India more than 5,000 years ago and is often called the “Mother of All Healing.” It stems from the ancient Vedic culture and was taught for many thousands of years in an oral tradition, from accomplished masters to their disciples.

Ayurveda treats and integrates body, mind and spirit using a comprehensive holistic approach. It combines three metabolic types, which are also called doshas, and the 5 elements. The central concept of Ayurvedic medicine is the theory that health exists when there is a balance between the three fundamental bodily bio-elements or doshas called Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
